Local foundations motivates and donates sanitary towels to Mosego pupils

Mosego Secondary School, in Ntswaneng, hosted a pivotal event organized by the Maboa Foundation in collaboration with the Sboniso Youth Care Centre (SYCC) and other partners.
The event was held on August 28. It brought together learners for a donation drive and a motivational session led by Ally Shiburi, Provincial DSD Youth Forum Chairperson and founder and Project leader of SYCC. The learners were handed sanitary towels as part of the visit.
The donation drive was a resounding success, with the community rallying around the learners to provide much-needed support.
This event highlighted the importance of community involvement in supporting the educational needs of young people.
The career discovery session, led by Shiburi, was the highlight of the event. As a renowned leader and expert, he shared his knowledge and experience, inspiring learners to discover their purpose and explore various career paths. This session empowered learners with the necessary skills and confidence to make informed decisions about their future.
The event demonstrated the power of partnerships between the Maboa Foundation, SYCC, Educational Empowerment Pty Ltd, Letang Projects and Holdings Pty Ltd, and Vow Multimedia in driving positive change. Shiburi’s session provided valuable insights into career options and the importance of discovering one’s purpose. The donation drive showcased the community’s willingness to support the educational needs of young people.
