Police detectives in Burgersfort, Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual offences unit (FCS) are appealing to the community to assist with the information that can assist in locating a man they believe his presence will be critical in solving a rape case . The man in question is a foreign national from Pakistan and only known as Adino.
According to information, on Thursday, 15 May 2025, the victim aged 12 left her home at Ga-Mampa Village, in Mecklenburg Policing area, and went to local spaza shop.

“She found the suspect busy with other customers. After they left, she approached him and asked him the plastics to make a ball, as she used to go to the shop with her friends. Unfortunately, that day, the suspect took advantage of her and ultimately ended up raping her.
“She managed to escape during the ordeal and ran to her residence, wherein she reported this heinous act to her mother,” said Limpopo SAPS spokesperson Colonel Malesela.
The victim’s mother apparently confronted the suspect about the incident, and she also told him that she was going to report him to police.

The matter was indeed reported to the Police and a case of rape was opened. Since then, the suspect was never seen at the village, and a manhunt was launched to track and trace him without success.

Police call upon the male person pictured below to report to his nearest police station as it is believed that he might assist the Police in resolving this case.

Anyone with information that can assist in locating the man is requested to contact investigating officer Constable Mildred Manamela Mabotja on 071 355 0571 or crime stop number 08600 10111 or nearest police station or use MySAPSApp.
