Prodigious writer to unveil second book
MOGANYAKA
Kutloano Moropyane, an award-winning author from Moganyaka Village outside Marble Hall, is set to publish his second book titled: “Love is Unbreakable”.
The book is an autobiography of Kutloano’s challenges he faced growing up, until his relentless character he built to become a successful writer who is now living his dream.
The 18-year-old Ngwanakwena Secondary School pupil says he developed passion for writing books when he was doing grade 3 at his local primary school.
Kutloano published his first book in 2023, titled: “Behind Any success There is Struggle”, a novel which marked the introduction of his inspirational and motivational voice in the literature spaces.
“When I was very young, I once made a promise to my parents that I will be a published author before I turn 20-years-old. My dream and my promise materialised when I published my first book in 2023,” he says.
Kutloano says, to him, being an author is not a talent but a gift from God as his first publication earned him three nominations, which include the African Future Leader, Young Ambitious Author in South Africa and Author Honouree Awards.
“I got nominated on 15 June 2024 with a milestone I made from Mozambique as the young ambitious author in Limpopo Province. Out of the three, I managed to be awarded the African Future Leader Award. I am glad about the achievement, it encourages me to keep on going,” he says.
Kutloano says being a successful author at a tender age makes him believe that he will be the next William Shakespeare in the near future.
“Nothing should stop you from dreaming, especially not your unfortunate circumstances, age or loss of support from those around you,” he adds.
The young author encourages his readers to start with what they have, where they are and they should dedicated hard-work on how to start working towards their vision.
“Growing up was tough but I was determined to make something out of my life. Your God-given abilities can do so much more for you than you could ever imagine,” he said.
Apart from being a scholar and full time writer, Kutloano is involved in a local Non-Profit Organization (NPO), which seeks to uplift his community and also a gospel singer, motivational speaker and a CEO of his own podcast called Game Changer.
Kutloano says his ultimate goal is to send his books to the shelves at various book stores in the country and also to upload them to amazon so that they will be internationally recognized.
