ANC Limpopo hosts regional water engagement session

African National Congress (ANC) in Limpopo has hosted its regional water engagement sessions to address water challenges in the province.
The party Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) held its sessions from different regions for three consecutive days.
Its first session at Norman Mashabane region followed by Vhembe region and lastly in Sekhukhune region.
In Sekhukhune it was held at Moses Mabotha Civic Hall on August 23.
All sessions were addressed by deputy minister of water and sanitation David Mahlobo.
Mahlobo presented the interventions from the National government on water provisions for the people of Sekhukhune.
He said the main objective of the sessions was to overcome the water provision challenges in the province.
Deputy Minister also gave uptades on the progress of water provision interventions in the region.
The provincial secretary of the ANC Reuben Madadzhe said: “We invited the Department of Water and Sanitation, and multiple stakeholders, so that together we can come up with practical solutions and timelines for this problem of shortage of safe clean drinking water,”
“As the PEC we are committed to ensure that our people have access to safe clean drinking water. Water is a human right issue, our people are entitled to get safe clean drinking water,” said Madadzhe
