Key vacant positions filled
MARBLE HALL – To heighten services for the people of Ephraim Mogale Local Municipality (EPMLM), the local municipality filled the three vacant positions of senior management on Wednesday, 29 June 2022 during an ordinary council meeting held at Marble Hall Town.
Percy Moagi, EPMLM Spokesperson, informed that the appointment was in line with municipal systems 32 of 2000, regulations on appointment and conditions of employment of senior managers.
Moagi said that Mamphiri Rosina Rampedi was appointed for Corporate Services, Yvonne Maphutha-Mashaba appointed for Community Services and Palesa Tjebane for Planning and Economic Development.
He added that both the senior managers for Corporate and Community Services were expected to commence on 1 July 2022 and senior managers for Planning and Economic Development would commence on 1August 2022 due to the fact that she would be serving a notice.
Given Moimana, EPMLM Mayor, said they have employed educated women with a lot of experience that would bring changes and make sure that they delivered sustainable services to the communities of EPMLM.
Moimana took the opportunity to welcome, congratulate and wish the senior managers well in their new responsibilities in the local municipality.
The local municipality expressed confidence in the appointment of the senior managers and added that the move would further enhance the development of the municipality to be able to intensify service delivery objectives.
