23 year-old man disappears from village

MONSTERLUS – The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Hlogotlou outside Groblersdal have launched a search operation following the disappearance of a 23 year-old man.

According to police, the 23 year-old Innocent Tshukudu Rakgalakane from Matsitsi Village in Hogotlou’s Monsterlus area allegedly went missing on 04 April 2021.

Police said Rakgalakane reportedly left home that day without telling his family members about his destination and had since disappeared.

Constable Maphure Manamela, Limpopo Provincial Police Spokesperson, said the 23 year-old man’s type of clothes he was wearing at the time of his disappearance was not known.

Manamela added that police conducted search operations at Rakgalakane’s relatives and friends but he could not be located.

He further said that police search operations and investigations into the 23 year-old’s disappearance were underway.

Police have requested anyone with information about Rakgalakane’s whereabouts to contact Detective Commander Captain Mokgwatsane at 082 414 3244 or the crime stop number 08600 10111. Alternatively, they can contact the nearest police station or use the MySAPSApp.
