He utilised his talent to tell God stories since he was young and he acknowledged that it took him years to be able to record his songs until he recently met his current producer, Godfrey Matome.
He’s got a new single track out and he’s enjoying seeing how people are reacting to it.
“My current producer has worked very hard to ensure that I release my first single track,” he explained
He said no one should lose hope because he believes God would respond to people’s grievances.
While speaking to Sekhukhune Times, he quoted a scripture of Revelations 21 verse 6-8.
In his early days as an artist he joined Sedibeng local boys in 1992, that’s when he discovered his pure talent.
The father of four children (two boys and two girls) said telling people that no matter who they are and despite the adversity, prejudice and obstacles, if they stay inspired and fearless they can achieve their goals and live their dream.
“Giving to the world the message from God is very amasing because I receive message from God and I pass through my talent and people admired my calling,” so said Dira.
He urged people to listen his music with ears, heart and knowledge so could understand the massage of his track.
“I would like to thank my wife and my family, Matladi Moretsele who’s my manager,” he said.
Owner of M-Godfrey Music Production, Matome, who’s producing Dira said he had 15 years’ experience in promoting artists.
“I met Dira accidentally in Jane Furse in the studio and I discovered that he used low recording studio which does not suit gospel genre and I took him to a quality studio in Pretoria,” he explained how he started to work with Dira.
