Willy Seropana release another hit song
BURGERSFORT
The year 2020 saw one local artist rise to stardom. Willy Seropana recently shared his success in the previous years with the Sekhukhune Times.
“These days, it’s not only South Africans who appreciate and love my music, my songs are being played in neighbouring countries such as Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe,” said Innocious William Mpheti (Willy Seropana’s real name).
Seropana started making music in 2015, initially starting out as a hip hop artist, but soon realised there wasn’t a market for his hip hop sound in Tubatse. In 2016, he decided to go into making house and gqom music. The decision bore fruits as Seropana is excelling in the music industry.
He is known for releasing hits such as Vosho, Areyeng Fish House and many more. The proclaimed King Vosho told this publication that he has embarked on a radio tour which has seen him being interviewed on more than 20 radio stations in SA and neighbouring countries.
“I was recently interviewed on Gweru FM in Zimbabwe, and in few weeks I will be on another radio station Capitalk FM from Harare.”
Seropana revealed that he has recently released another track which is being played all over the country.
“My new hit is called I’m sorry, I featured a Namibian artist called Doc Lee, the song is already doing well ‘’
Seropana added, “During the national lockdown we had opportunities to be creative and to think out of the box. We have learnt so much and also worked with artists from other African countries.”
