Good Samaritans donate to local crèche
MAANDAGSHOEK
The quality and standard of learning is expected to improve at Ikageng Pre-school in Maandagshoek. On Friday (November 27), Mokhakara GT in partnership with Joyrides donated the Pre-school educational aids. The donations included comic books, drawing books, furniture and toys for the kids.
The founder and Director of Mokhakara GT Tumie Maduana said he was touched and eager to assist the school when he heard of the challenges experienced by the crèche.
“The school is one of the neediest in our area. I was told that the school has no proper furniture and they lacked books, I was left with no choice but to assist. Every child deserves an opportunity to be taught in a decent place, with proper educational facilities,” added the Good Samaritan. Ikageng Pre-school was established back in the early 90’s by Mrs Ester Nieherderheighman. The pre-school was handed over to the community of Mandagshoek for them to operate and teach the kids in it. Currently the Pre-school is run by Mrs Winnie Manogo who is determined to improve it and make it success.
“We are appealing to everyone who wants to help the Pre-school to donate any means of help to a better future of our kids as they deserve a better foundation to become our future leaders,”added Manogo,
