Residents demand a contractor who left scary holes to pay and finish his job

Mashabela Traditional Authority has intervened in the incomplete abandoned toilets project in Mahlakaseleng area.
The royal family has called upon Moribo Wa Africa to pay its workers and complete their job with immediate effect.
Mahlakanaseleng residents had lately reported incomplete toilets mess to its traditional leaders.
According to the irritated community tension established when municipal worker and steering committee failed to have common ground on poor procedure of introducing contactor to the royal family and proper procedure of hiring people.
As it stand, member of steering committee Ngwato Sello alleges the African National Congress ward councillor Paul Diketane (ANC) didn’t introduce the project to the royal family instead misled them say he did.
According to spokesperson of the royal family, all iNtonas from sub villages were invited to resolve this issue in a traditional way.
Makhuduthamaga mayor Minah Bahula was also invited to participate in the proceedings.
“Mayor didn’t come in any invited meeting by us. She always postpones. We wanted her to be present to see how could we resolve the issue of his councillor who always disrespect the royal family,” Ngwato Sello, member of steering committee who was also part of the iNtonas meeting.
Ngwato said traditional house wanted to hold ward councillor accountable over alleged ill-discipline and on why he never introduced the project to the royal house.
“Mayor made uncounted postponement and we suspect that Paul disallow her,” Ngwato revealed
Ngwato said Mayor Minah Bahula promised to come but in the last minutes she always made excuses.
He has reiterated, ward committee, ward councillor and project manager must account for any damaged causes by scary uncovered holes.
Unpaid workers have stayed away from reporting for duty demanding their wages.

Ngwato said Paul and Mokgohlwe forced the project to commence despite poor procedure of introducing contractor to the royal family which caused tension later, and now people are not getting paid.
