Local GladAfrica championship side Sekhukhune United has signed veteran goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini after he was released by Highlands Park.
Kapini is the first major signing at the Tubatse outfit.
Kapini left Highlands Park after it was sold to TS Galaxy.
He is 36, turning 37 next year and he has seen better days in the elite league.
The 36 year old former Zimbabwean international goalkeeper previously played for AmaZulu and has vast experience in the PSL.
Sekhukhune United (Ba bina Noko) ‘s Alex Bapela has confirmed that the goalie has signed one-year deal with the club – the second tier club that bought the status of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila – after the Limpopo outfit purchased the topflight status of Bidvest Wits.
“Sekhukhune United is delighted to announce the signing of Kapini with one year contract plus an option for another year,” confirmed Bapela on national radio Thobela FM.
