Ntshudisane appointed as SDM MM
GROBLERSDAL –Sekhukhune District Municipality (SDM) has appointed a new municipality’s manager, Maureen Ntshudisane.
Ntshudisane holds a master’s degree in development planning from the University of Witwatersrand and has 15 years work experience in local government, 10 of which were in senior management She has been appointed in the district municipality as the MM as at 1 September 2020.
Ntshudisane was appointed at the district municipality with effect from the day for a period not more than a year the next local government elections.
Her previous held positions in senior management level positions include those of Chief Operations Officer and Municipal Manager (MM).
SDM council also resolved that Maseleganye Matji be appointed as Director Infrastructure and Water Services with effect from 1 September 2020 for a period not more than a year after the next local government elections.
Matji holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Stellenbosch University and Masters of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa.
He has 27 years experience in the infrastructure development sector, with special focus on the water and transport services.
Also, the district has extended the tenure of Colbert Mufamadi as Acting Financial Officer who holds a B Compt degree from the University of South Africa.
Mufamadi has 15 experience in public service and six of those where senior management position at the district municipality.
SDM Executive Mayor, Stanley Ramaila, wished that newly appointed officials well as they took up new responsibilities.
