Local artists nominated in Gama awards
BURGERSFORT
Sekhukhune District is famous for producing some of the best artists in weddings songs and traditional music.
Piet Tlaila from Burgersfort is also excelling in the tša Manyalo music.
Tlaila started his music career in 2009 as a dancer for Pino Mogoba.
He released his first album back in 2010. Most locals might have seen him performing at weddings and city centres all over Limpopo province.

In his music career he worked and collaborated with some of the best artists in the Manyalo music fraternity.

Tlaila recently released his eighth album. He also has a single track titled Nyatsi which is doing well in the market.
The man from Burgersfort is one of the nominees in the Gama awards 2020 under the category of the best traditional/cultural artist.
