Master KG’s Jerusalem continues to trend internationally

Master KG’s Jerusalem video has garnered more than 50 million views on YouTube channel.  The Tzaneen born artist has cemented himself in the music industry with the song that took the whole country through the 2019 festive season.

The song has also been making waves internationally as people from countries such as Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, France, Nepal etc. can be seen all over social media
dancing to the song. Just last month the artist released Jerusalem remix with Nigerian artist Burna Boy and the remix has already surpassed 2 million YouTube views since its

Limpopo MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Thandi Moraka congratulated Kgaogelo Moagi (Master KG’s real name) for flying the SA flag high.

“This is a great achievement and history in the making, Master KG has done well and representing both the province and the country with pride. We are truly humbled with what Master KG has achieved and this shows that hardwork pays”Moraka said.

Moraka is however concerned that the song with such accolades and success did not get a single nomination at the 2020 South African Music Awards.

“We disappointed with the fact that Jerusalem and Makhadzi’s Matorokisi were both not nominated for any category in this years’ SAMA’s. This is a serious concern to us because both songs did well in 2019” concluded  Moraka.
