Former Baroka FC midfielder Khunadi Nkoana has passed away on Tuesday.
Kaka as he was known in the football fraternity was registered with the ABC Motsepe side Magesi FC during the time of his passing.
The 28 year old attacking midfielder came through the Transnet School of Excellence development.
He went on to play for Baroka, Chippa United, Black Leopards and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila among other clubs in his professional career.
According to reports, the talented midfielder was admitted to the Polokwane Provincial hospital after he complained of stomach pains over the weekend. He succumbed to the short illness on June 7.
Nkoana was part of the Baroka squad that shocked big clubs Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows in the Nedbank Cup in 2011 as a Vodacom (now ABC Motsepe) League team under their then coach Sello Chokoe.
