TSS Security partners with SDM to donate to the needy.

Sekhukhune Covid-19 Food distribution in partnership with the Tubatse Security Services (TSS) donated food parcels to needy families in Riba Cross on Tuesday.
Fifteen families from the Riba Cross area benefitted from the programme. The families received maize meal,Goldi mixed portions, rice, veggies and tinned foods.
“We are happy that the TSS under the ownership of Deon Rantho extended their hand in assisting the needy. To date, we have gathered enough foods for the needy in Sekhukhune .We hope that through our food bank houses at Bareki Mall, Groblersdal and the old Jane Furse hospital, government and the private sector will help the needy,” said SDM’s executive mayor Stan Ramaila.
Speaking on behalf of the Good Samaritans, resident Jeffrey Mashoeu said, “We are responding to a call made by both the president and premier. We requested the executive mayor for a permission to do this act of goodwill. He approved that, as residents of Riba Cross we can do this Covid-19 intervention in our village .We are excited to make a difference in the lives of the locals.”
Ramaila further appealed to the communities to comply with the COVID-19 lockdown measures and to remain at their homes.
