PROVINCIAL COMMISSIONER CONDEMNS THE ATTACK ON FOUR PEOPLE SUSPECTED OF BURGLARIES*
POLOKWANE – The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba strongly condemns the brutal attack of four(04) people during separate incidents, suspected of committing burglaries around Seshego Policing area.
The first incident took place yesterday morning, 24 April 2020 where an unknown man aged 23, was cornered at Extention 71 and severely assaulted with various objects.He later died in hospital.
The Police this morning responded to another incident of mob justice after three unknown people believed to be aged between 22 and 25, were cornered at Extension 75.Two of the alleged suspects were caught and severely assaulted.The third managed to escape and ran away.
The two victims were then taken to hospital where one later succumbed to the injuries.
Two cases of murder and one of attempted murder have been opened for investigation.
