Health MEC tour reaches old age home

The fight against Covid-19 saw Sekutupu old age home in Zebediela receiving a major boost of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs). The donation was made by Health department in Limpopo, led by MEC Phophi Ramathuba.

Ramathuba has also trained health care givers about covid-19 to ensure safety of the elderly people.

In expressing appreciation for the donations Sekutupu old age home manager Machuene Ramashala said: “We appreciated the operation between social development and health department initiative.

Ramashala said the initiative has helped in curbing the shortage of PPEs.

Sekutupu old age home manager assured Ramathuba that the resources will be used for intended purpose.

“It is never about us, but about those that we serve,” said Ramashala.
