Groblersdal
A news article about the delivery of TUPS Sport Cares Corona virus awareness masks published in the Sekhukhune Times edition of 26 March 2020 was like a seed that fell on a fertile soil. Owing to its perfect timing and the interest it ignited among 1000-plus staff members of Sekhukhune District Municipality and its economic propeller the Sekhukhune Development Agency (SDA).
Speaking of the handover of the 5000-plus TUPS branded masks at Sekhukhune District Municipality’s headquarters in Groblersdal, the Inventor of TUPS Sport Mr Puleng Mmotla said everywhere they went copies of Sekhukhune Times were held dearly as members of public were surprised by the perfect timing of the news article.
“We really appreciate Sekhukhune Times for being the most reliable, constantly available and informative medium for our communities in this time of need. You saw this morning the clean sweep of all their newspapers as employees of the District are going to start their lockdown in different parts of the country. They will also share messages, along with the messages imprinted on the masks about adhering to the lockdown” explained Mmotla
