The Provincial 6th administration has been working tirelessly for the past 10months, since it became into effect last year after the National government sections.
In the 6th administration the Province saw Monnica Mochadi occupy office as The MEC for Public works and Infrastructure, she has now been relieved of her duties with immediate effect. The Premier Stanley Chupu Mathabatha has since decided make changes to the Executive Council in order to carry out its constitutional mandate.
The cabinet reshuffle has seen the MEC for Transport and Community Safety Namane Masemola, being shuffled to occupy Mochadi’s office. Whereas the new MEC responsible for Transport and Community Safety will be occupied by Speaker of the Provincial legislature Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya.
Mochadi is being shown the boot due to poor performance in the Department. The rest of MEC’s retain their sits in their respective departments.
