Moloko Moloto, SDM communications officer, said the meeting agreed that a service legal agreement ought to be by the 1st of February 2020 and that business be developed before the end of that month.
“The envisaged agreement will see LNW providing bulk water supply services, manage water treatment plants and implement a capital expenditure programme which aims to expand pipelines, reservoirs and pumping stations infrastructure, among others,” explained Moloto.
Ramaila expressed confidence that the agreement would reinforce SDM’s mandate to provide residents with portable water and sanitation.
Meanwhile, the situation remained uncontrollable in Moutse since residents embarked on a fierce service delivery on Tuesday over water shortages in the area.
