Dennilton’s Mabena has his first book
DENNILTON – Vusi Mabena, 27 year-old poet and motivational speaker from Dennilton outside Groblersdal recently had his fisrt book published.
Mabena released a collection of motivational book titled, “Tears of Life Collection Motivational Book”. Mabena, co-founder of Raising Star’s To Shine Youth Organization, was featured as an extra in a number of popular TV soapies including Generations the Legacy, Isibaya and The Queen.
The lad said difficulties he experienced in his childhood motivated him to write the book. “I have been through a lot in my life and never give up. This is the reason I decided to write this book in order to motivate others to hold on to their dreams. The book is simply based on some of my life hardships when I was still young,” he said.
He said his book has 135 different motivational topics and one free poem. “The book includes life events that encouraged and keep me going even if it was tough. I hope it will send a positive message out there to help other young people who are facing similar challenges that I was going through in my childhood,” added Mabena.
He further said he was currently working on other projects including musical motivational mixtape and another book to be launched next year.
“The mixtape-album along with my second story book will be released in the second week of January next year. The book and album will be carrying the message of love and motivation to young people. He said reading always inspire him to cope with day-to-day challenges he come across in his life. “I love reading books. Reading teaches me a lot about what other people go through all around the world,” concluded Mabena.
