GA-MAHLOKWANE –The African National Congress (ANC), its leagues and Alliance partners, led by its Sekhukhune Region Chairperson, Stanley Ramaila visited the distraught Magabane family in Ga-Mahlokwane village.
According to Tshepo Matenche, ANC Sekhukhune region spokesperson, the visit ‘s purpose was to show support for the family of the murdered Precious Magabane, who was a teacher, and pray for justice to prevail over the matter, currently in court.
“ANC remains a leader of society and a carrying organization. The chairperson of the region, Ramaila declared that ANC shall be side by side with family in seeking justice to prevail. Thank you all who made the occasion a success.” said Matenche
Two Pakistani nations were arrested for kidnapping and murder of 36 year-old Precious Magabane who was a teacher.
The two, Raza Ali (24) and Chema Ashan Fraza (28) were denied bail when they appeared before the Praktiseer Magistrates Court recently.
The deceased, Precious Mohlale Magagane from Ga-Mahlokwane village was reported missing on 23 December 2018.
The two were arrested following an intensive crime intelligence-driven operation conducted soon after it emerged that certain suspects could be involved in the deceased’s disappearance, according to police.
Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, Limpopo Provincial Police Spokesperson, said the sterling work by their operatives led to the discovery of the remains believed to be that of the deceased.
Mojapelo said the deceased’s dismembered remains were found disposed of at places in the area along the Burgerfort-Lydenburg road.
“Police recovered a 9mm pistol, ammunition and a motor vehicle. A cellphone belonging to the deceased was also recovered from the seized vehicle. The motive for the gruesome murder is unknown at this stage,” added Mojapelo.
The suspects are facing charges of kidnapping, murder, possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition and possession of suspected stolen property.
