Residents are still shocked about the brutal murder of Precious Ramabulana (21). She was killed hours before the start of 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children campaign.

Ramabulana was attacked by an unknown suspect and brutally stabbed to death.  She was also raped before she was killed. The incident happened on Sunday morning, November 24, at 02:30. She was allegedly stabbed 52 times.

Limpopo SAPS’s Brig Motlafelo Mojapelo said the deceased was asleep in her rented room at Ga-Joel Section in Mokomene when the suspect gained entry through the window and started attacking her. He then stabbed her several times and fled from the scene.

“The deceased’s frantic screams were heard by the neighbours who called the police. On arrival, her body was found in a pool of blood with several stab wounds. The motive for the attack is unknown at this stage.”

Limpopo provincial Commissioner Lt Gen Nneke Ledwaba has instructed the SAPS that this brutal killer must be hunted down and brought to book.  Ramabulana  was a student at Capricorn TVET College at Ramokgopha Campus.
