MobiRAf assist crash victims in Tubatse
Burgersfort
The Road Accident Fund’s
(RAF’s) mobile office, MobiRAF, visited various communities in the Sekhukhune
District Municipality, this included the Makhuduthamaga and Fetakgomo
Tubatse areas. This was done to serve car crash victims. The visits
started in Jane Furse on 21 October and were completed on October 26 at Tubatse
Crossing Mall.
The MobiRAF enables the Fund to reach out to
communities who are located in areas where there are no offices. At the heart
of this extensive community outreach is service delivery, taking the RAF’s
products and services to the door-steps of the people who need them most.
The MobiRAF also visited Mecklenburg, Bopedi
Shopping Centre, Ngwaabe Shell Garage and Leboweng.
The RAF-branded-vehicle has the capability of consulting with at least 70 to 80
customers at any given time. Devoted RAF personnel assisted car crash victims
with the direct registering of new claims, consolidation of required compliance
documents, general claims queries, and reporting of alleged cases of misconduct
against unscrupulous personal injury attorneys, including touts who defraud
unsuspecting claimants.
