Nine year-old boy goes missing in Phatantswane village

PHATANTSWANE – Police in Nebo outside Groblersdal have launched a search operation following the disappearance of nine year-old Johannes Mabuza.

According to police Mabuza went missing on 10 August 2019 at about 19:00 in the evening at Phatantswane village.

The missing nine year-old Mabuza was staying with his 85 year-old grandmother at the village and did not return home after his disappearance.

Police said it was not unknown what the boy was wearing at the time of his disappearance. A search operation was conducted at the victim’s friends and relatives without success.

Anyone with information that can assist to locate the missing boy may contact Warrant Officer Mogawane at 082 348 7949 or the crime stop number 08600 10111 or the nearest police station.
