The House of Traditional Leaders in Limpopo said it is worried about the loss of lives recorded at the initiation school this season.
Its chairperson house Kgoshi Malesela Dikgale said three children have lost their lives.
Dikgale said amongst those deceased one was eight years old which it is deemed to be against initiation laws.
“At this point three children lost their lives at different initiation schools in Sekhukhune, Vhembe and Waterburg district respectively. In Sekhukhune we identified one initiation school as illegal,” said Dikgale.
He confirmed that eight years boy who passed away was from legal initiation school and that particular school ignored to adhere to the legal age which is twelve years old and above.
“Legal action will be taken against all the initiation schools which are operating illegally and those who decided not to adhere the initiation school laws,” said Dikgale.
