Teenage girl goes missing, police launch search operation
DENNILTON – The South African Police Service (Saps) in Limpopo have launched a search operation following the disappearance of a 15 year-old teenager in Dennilton.
According to police the reportedly missing girl, Boitumelo Dikola, disappeared on 16 May 2019 at about 03:00 from her residence at Dennilton, Moteti C1 village.
Constable Meinkie Ramakgoakgoa, Limpopo Provincial Police Spokesperson, said the missing teenager’s grandmother alleged that at around 06:30 she went to wake her up to prepare herself for school but she was nowhere to be found.
Ramakgoakgoa said according to the victim’s younger brother, his sister went outside the house but never returned.
“They tried to search for her at friends and relatives but she was not found. She was last seen wearing black jean trousers and a white shirt,” explained Ramakgoakgoa.
