Limpopo premier Stan Chupu Mathabatha was re-elected premier unopposed on Wednesday. He also announced his cabinet during the swearing in of the members of the legislature for the sixth term.

The ANC in Limpopo welcomed the swearing-in of Members of the Provincial legislature.
“The appointment of Chupu Mathabatha as the Premier of the Province, is an affirmation of the continued confidence that the people of Limpopo have in the
ANC, as a leader of society. The swearing-in ceremony is a culmination of an intense and vigorous electoral process which saw the ANC retaining 38 seats, from a total 49 in the Provincial Legislature,” said the party’s provincial secretary Soviet Lekganyane.
The following members have also been elected to serve in these various capacities: Speaker of the Legislature, Mavhungu Luruli-Ramakhanya, Deputy Speaker, Jerry Ndou, Chief Whi, Essop Mokgonyana , Deputy Chief Whip: Rosemary Molapo ,Chair of Chairs: Tolly Mashamaite ,Deputy Chair of Chairs: David ‘Che’ Selane.
