JANE FURSE – Limpopo South African Police Service in Jane Furse have launched a massive manhunt for suspects involved in the bombing of an ATM at a shopping complex in Jane Furse on at about midnight on Sunday.
Colonel Moasthe Ngoepe, Limpopo Provincial Police Spokesperson, said no arrests had been made and the police search for the suspect(s) continued.
Ngoepe said police were appealing to members of the public to work closely with police to ensure that perpetrators of the crime were brought to book.
He said anyone with information which can lead to the arrest of the suspects involved in the matter may contact the crime stop number 08600 10111, the crime line SMS 32211 or the nearest police station.
Asked whether there had been money stolen during the bombing of the machine, Ngoepe said police were still investigating.
Police could not provide details on how the attack on the machine occurred and where the security guards at the complex were during the incident.
