Tubatse teenage girl and Ga-Mphahlele woman go missing in separate incidents, help police find them

GA-MPHAHELE DRESTEN – The Police in Tubatse outside Burgersfort have launched a search operation for a missing teenage girl Thanaka Gatsi aged 13 from Dresden village who was last seen on 19 February 2019 at about 06h30.

According to police further investigations the girl was last seen by her mother when she left home to school at Mmaditsi High School in Bothashoek.

Police said at the time of her disappearance, Gatsi was wearing a black trouser and white shirt with   black shoes, carrying a school bag.

Police efforts to locate the teenage girl at friends and relatives and surrounding areas were unsuccessful.

Anyone with information about the girl’s whereabouts is requested to contact Colonel Mahlathini Ngele at 082 573 3645, Tubatse Police Station on 013 216 8500 or the Community Service Center cellphone number  079 889 5531, the crime stop number 0860010111, the crime Line SMS 32211 or the nearest Police Station.

Meanwhile, South African Police Service (Saps) in Lebowakgomo have launched search operation for a missing 26 year-old woman from Ga-Mphahlele outside Apel Cross.

The 26 year-old woman, Mogano Keletjo Pheladi from Makurung village disappeared on 26 March 2019 when she was sent to Lebowakgomo Mall to buy groceries around 10:00 and she never came back, it is alleged.

Police said the according to information at their disposal Mogano is dark in complexion and was wearing a pitch dress and green flat shoes during the time of her disappearance.

Police appeal to anyone with information that can assist in finding the woman to contact Warrant Officer Leolo at 084 039 9671 or the crime stop number 08600 10111 or the crime line sms 32211 or the nearest police station.

Police investigations are ongoing.
