The executive mayor of Sekhukhune district municipality, Stanley Ramaila met with Mohlaletse community under Fetakgomo Tubatse local municipality at Mohlaletse community hall.
This was part of his 2018/19 annual performance report review regards service delivery.
Fetakgomo Tubatse local municipality is one of the municipalities that have sacked its mayor due to allegation of investing money that was meant for service delivery.
Addressing Mohlaletse community, Ramaila said his party delivered service since 2016 local government election took part.
“We did not take your money to VBS because we concern ourselves with delivery of quality services for the people of Sekhukhune, and no other interest,” Ramaila explained to the community.
He said despite the barriers his party encountered, the service would be delivered to the community.
“Key to this critical engagement is to measure performance based on the ANC local government election manifesto of 2016. We are proud of the achievement we made at SALGA award held recently. We are proud for having been recognised on audit finding and MIG spending,” he said.
On the SALGA award issue, Ramaila was referring to the award he received at Sun Meropa as he believes the award demonstrate to good work done by his caucus.
