Communities are angry due to unfinished tar road

Leaders in Royal families of traditions in both Ga Maila and Mphanama area said they felt victimised over unfinished tar road around their area since last year.
The two communities blame the project manager for abandoning the D4200 road for more than six months.
They also accused RAL for not communicating with them when implement and construct the road that pass through Madibong to Apel and they demand answers on why the project is unfinished.
A source told Sekhukhune times reporter that on 11 January 2019 RAL tried to meet with several stakeholders that could help to finish the tar road but the meeting has failed.
Local entrepreneurs around the areas said the project disadvantaged their business as they markets were removed due to construction in process. They said they felt abandoned as the project took long period of time before it stopped.
No one seems to know what stopped the project to construct the D4200 road.
Sekhukhune times reporter tried in vain to contact the spokesperson of RAL for comments, but was unsuccessful.
