Marulaneng gets a clinic

MARULANENG– Limpopo Department of Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba officially opened Marulaneng Clinic outside Jane Furse. Ramathuba, accompanied by officials from the Health Department in the province, delivered a keynote address during the official opening ceremony. According to MEC Ramathuba, the clinic built in Marulaneng will service more than 4000 people and will be adequately equipped and staffed so that people do not have to queue in hospitals. “We know for a fact that if we get the clinics right, we would have a workable public health service. We invested in clinics across the province so that our people get best medical attention where they live, and not spend their little funds on the road in pursuit for health care facilities,” she said. Local traditional leader, Kgoshi Seraki Equator Thulare of Marota-Marulaneng thanked MEC Ramathuba for her stealth and remaining true to her word about making sure that the clinic opens before year end. “I wish you well in your great work. I also wish to thank Ms Linah Nnete Maepa, the Senior Manager for our district for keeping us informed every step of the way. Dedicated public servants from your office have demonstrated the renewal that we needed all along. In deed what you are presenting to us is not just an asset and an admirable facility but manifestation of the vision of the founding fathers of our democracy. This is among the example of creating a better life for all,” said Kgoshi Thulare
