Baroka praised for talent search
JANE-FURSE
Giving every child of Limpopo a fair and equal opportunity to play in the elite league in the land is one of Baroka FC’s most signifying glories. To continue with this noble cause Baroka FC development coach Isaac Maja spent two days in Jane Furse to spot rare talent during Makhuduthamaga Municipality’s Mayor’s Cup tournament. The tournament was played from Saturday 03 to Sunday 04 November 2018 at SAFA 2010 Legacy Artificial Pitch. Only Mamelodi Sundowns and Baroka FC were represented in the tournament at the tournament despite the fact that both teams were playing crucial PSL match that weekend. In her appreciation of both teams’ commitment to the development of young people Mayor Minah Bahula of Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality called them his heroes.
“I want you to extend my message to your respective chairmen Ntate Mphahlele of Baroka and Ntate Motsepe of Sundowns that your presence in this tournament has been felt as boys from villages of Makhuduthamaga sweated to win the cup but also to make an impression as potential players” said Mayor Bahula
