Masakaneng man goes missing

MASAKANENG – Groblersdal South African Police Service (Saps) have launched a search operation for a missing 23 year-old man.

The 23 year-old Tom Gift who is originally from Zimbabwe and residing in Masakaneng settlement outside Groblersdal was last seen on Sunday 04 November 2018 at about 13:30.

According to police his family alleged that they saw him boarding in a white double cab Isuzu and that since then he never returned home.

Police said during his disappearance, Tom Gift was wearing black jeans, white shirt with black and white sandals.

Warrant Officer Stan Magaela, Groblersdal Police Spokesperson, said the family tried to local Tom Gift in Zimbabwe and other areas in South Africa but he was nowhere to be found.

“Police were then notified of the victim’s disappearance and efforts to locate him were not successful. Our investigations are ongoing,” said Magaela.
