Miss Polokwane Plus Size Finalist was crowned on weekend

POLOKWANE

Polokwane community library’s auditorium hall was full packed, three judges crowned Miss Polokwane Plus Size Finalist, Lucia Sete and Refilwe Mashaba as the Miss Public Choice on 01 December 2018.

Earlier this years all the contesters where tasked to urged to implore the community to support them with vote to their unique code.

Eight models were lined up in prior the judges announce the winner in expectation to win the title with their fancy long dress

Refilwe, Miss Public Choice, said she was not defeated because she at least chose by public. She said she gained overwhelming experience because it was her time being a contester in a professional level.

“A vital support from the people who voted as well as the support from my family is very crucial to me because as models we can’t afford to do this alone. My outfit was chosen by my mother since she was the one encouraged me to be part of the competition,” she said.

She said she was happy for the fact that she was on the panel. Refilwe said her family accompanied and witnessed when she was being crowned which made her believe that they were not disappointed.

She added that much community support needed because she believes that it takes the society to raise a child.
