National member of the Democratic Alliance (DA) has visited and addressed hundreds of its party supporters in mid-day on the 17th of November 2018 at Mmachacha sports ground over the weekend.
Despite the hot weather condition, the members of community were under stretched white tent to listen to the speaker.
Key note was expected to deliver by the DA provincial leader, Jacque Smalle merely to discover his absent.
Addressing the attendance, David Matsepe has apologised to the community for the absent of Smalle. He then gave the community opportunity to dwell their daily challenges as he observe.
The community members told him that the ANC government is led by the self-serve and driven by corrupt leaders whom hire people at night.
They further said service delivery under Makhuduthamaga local municipality has eyes and does have favours.
“Makhuduthamaga mayor lied to us, in the past years she said on 02 June 2017 the construct would have done to construct road, but even today we are still on gravel road. The road from Mphanama cross to Mmachacha is not good for any kind of transport,” they explained.
They said a dam which suppliers and distributes water to the taps does not have cap on top of it.
“There’s nothing on top of a dam nor shelter anything could pollute the water. We are tired, this administrative never took us serious,” they said.
Responding to the community he said corruption and nepotism is very dangerous to every community and he implored the community to vote ANC out next year.
“I will brief the national assembly due to challenges you faced. Give us only five years to govern this nation, we will deliver as we deliver where we govern and we will continue to deliver,” he said.
