Sehloi Primary School was handed eight computers last week. The laptops were handed by Siyafunda Community Technology Centre (CTC).
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Siyafunda’s Katishi Mofokeng said the school’s pupils and their educators would now benefit from computer-based learning and teaching programs, providing curricular support for all subjects from grades R to 7.
“We want to pave a better future for the kids in the villages. We wish for the improvement of education in this school,” Mofokeng added.
Sehloi’s principal, SW Dibakwane thanked Siyafunda, for the changes they had brought to the school.
“Siyafunda previously donated a library to our school. We are thankful for the organisation’s support and for choosing Sehloi. We will ensure the laptops are kept at a safer place.”
Siyafunda CTC focuses on the use of digital technologies to support community, economic, educational, social development and creating economic opportunities for the youth.
