It was all ululations as Moisele Primary School at Ga Makofane village bid farewell to their grade 7 pupils on November 9.
The ceremony included a prize-giving function where trophies and certificates were awarded to those who excelled.
There was entertainment galore as pupils performed dramas, choir, poems and dances. The attendance was satisfactory as former learners, local councillors, traditional leaders, and parents graced the event.
Key note speaker D.S Moimane asked parents to cooperate with teachers in developing the pupils.
“To avoid our learners being criminals, I urge parents to help in guiding and disciplining them, because teachers can’t do it alone,” he suggested.
Issuing a message to the grade 7’s principal Merriam Mdhululi said, “You are going to a new environment to meet new friends, do not allow the new environment to change you negatively. Go and represent us well, wherever you are going.”
