A new community library has been unveiled by the Education MEC in Limpopo, Ishmael Kgetjepe at Maswi a Nape primary school in Phokwane village.
Kgetjepe was welcomed by the office of executive mayor which was represented by MMC Yvonne Mmakola. MEC said they hoped the library would encourage learners to work hard.
“Leaners need to be natured and given the safe environment to read their books. The district would hold educators workshop for academic and educational activities,” he said.
He said were happy to launch the library as he believes education is fundamental priority to everyone in the country.
“Now we are happy because we delivered to the community and we urge both educators and learners to use it wisely,” he said.
He promised Sekhukhune community to launch more libraries in the area to advance learners with study materials and equipments.
This library has launched later after Phokwane community demanded it for many years. Learners were happy as they would have a place to study without any commotion to destruct them.
