Tubatse EDU Support Group, known to many as TESG, aims to develop local youth as well as education in Limpopo.
The group recently organised an educational tour for pupils of Mmiditsi Secondary to South African Airways (SAA) as well as the SABC.
“At SAA we introduced the pupils to aircraft engineering and the aviation industry. They were also guided on learnerships offered by SAA,” said the founder of the organisation, Rosinah Marobane.
She added that the visit to the SABC ensured the pupils learned more about news reporting, weather reports, radio presenting, sound engineering and film production.
“They also got to meet SABC news anchors and actors. We also learned about bursaries and internships offered by the public broadcaster.”
“Our mission is to contribute towards the learning experience of pupils by providing ways in which they can enjoy education and its benefits,” said Tebogo Molotsi, the CEO of the group.
The organisation thanked Samancor Tubatse Chrome, Bison Spur, Digital Skilite and Supa Save for sponsoring the tour.
