Help police locate missing Zaaiplaas woman and Leboeng elderly man

ZAAIPLAAS/LEBOENG – Police in Zaaiplaas have launched a search operation for a 22 year-old woman from Keerom village in Zaaiplaas outside Groblersdal.

The missing woman, Lettie Basesi Makuwa reportedly left her home to visit friends but failed to reach the destination and never returned home, according to police.

Makuwa was last seen on 29 September 2018 around 14:00 wearing a pink jersey, a black skirt with peach dots and white Soviet sneakers. She is dark in complexion.

Anyone with information that can assist to locate the victim or with information on her whereabouts is requested to contact Warrant Officer Mhletshwa Shabangu at 082 303 9894 or the crime stop number 08600 10111 or the crime line sms 32211 or the nearest police station.

Meanwhile, police in Leboeng outside Burgersfort have launched a search operation for an elderly man from Kgautswane village in Leboeng.

According to the family, the 50 year-old Hendrick Sipho Kgoedi was last seen on 07 October 2018 when he left his home to work at Witbank in Mpumalanga province. Kgoedi was using public transport and he never arrived at his destination.

He was last seen wearing a sky-blue pair of trousers with blue and brown T-shirt and a black leather jacket.

Police said they were informed and together with the family they searched for Kgoedi at his friends and relatives but he could not be located.
