Mphofelo and Twickenham Mine celebrate with pupils at BBKS Academy

One of the respected fathers around Tubatse Vincent Mphofelo celebrated his 43rd birthday on 27 September 2018. Mphofelo celebrated his big day with pupils at BBKS Academy at Ga Phala. BBKS has a special place in Mphofelo’s heart as his daughter is also a scholar at the school.

The devoted father is an employee at Twickenham Mine, during the visit to the school he was accompanied by his co-workers from the mine.  On the day, they also handed water bottles to the learners at the school.

Keabetswe Mphofelo who is learning at BBKS Academy said his father is a special dad.

“Thank you for coming to our school and celebrate with us. We wish you live many more years. Happy birthday Dad.  The learners were given educational safety tips as well as safety pamphlets by the mine employees.”

The principal of the school Mr Donald Mringa thanked the Mphofelo family and Twickenham Mine’s employees for visiting them and celebrating with them.

“We need to celebrate living because we live once. On behalf of the school I wish Keabetswe’s father many years to come,” he added.
