In celebration of women’s month Sekhukhune Times took to the street to ask ordinary citizens what is crucial about the day and what it’s reminds them of.

We must celebrate this day because it’s a big day for women of this country. We must not forget as a nation that women are the ones who brought us to this world. Women need strong protection from men not the abuse. Women advise us in our daily basis to do good things. Men who abusing women must be punished with immediate effect.
