Ratanang FC tournament promises soccer entertainment in Mooihoek village
MOOOIHOEK – Ratanang FC will host Pre-season Top Tournament on July the 28th at Mooihoek village outside Marble Hall in preparation for the about to kick-off league season.
Mmushi Mmadi, Ratanang FC Managing Director, said the tournament was would prepare for the SAFA SAB League teams for the next season and also sign new players who would represent, especially in the SAFA Sekhukhune Region streams C.
Mmadi further said their plan as a team was to compete in the ABC Motsepe League in the 2019/20 season with a different attitude.
“We need to start building a team that will stand the test of time. The knock-out stage will take place on the 28th with the semifinal and the finals kicking off on the 29th at Ratanang FC home ground at Mooihoek village,” explained Mmadi.
The team will be hosting trials for under 15/17 boys and girls from Tsimanyane, Letebejane, Mohlotsi and Matilo villages on the same day and urged parents to sent their kids.
Mmadi said they have realised the need for tournaments in rural sports development program as a means to keep the youth away from the streets and immoral behaviour that leads to criminality.
“As members of the community, we support any activity that keeps them away from danger and substance abuse,” concluded Mmadi.
First match will see Gala FC locking horns with Cameron, second match will be Fantasy against Masokolara, third match will be Ratanang FC and Square FC and the fourth is Argentina against Fenerbache FC.
