Ga-Mashamothane man goes missing, police seek community assistance to locate him
TUBATSE – 32 year-old Leutle Ruddy Hlogi Matuku from Ga-Mashamothane village, Zone 8, outside Burgersfort has gone missing.
The South African Police (Saps) in Tubatse are requesting assistance from members of the community to locate the man.
Police said Matuku currently stayed at Mashifane village outside Burgersfort where he rented a place and he was last seen on Friday 22 July 2018 at about 17:00.
Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, Limpopo Provincial Police Spokesperson, said according to the victim’s sister, who was the last person to see him, Matuku told her that he was going to Praktiseer but never returned until today.
Ngoepe said Matuku was last seen driving a red Toyota Corolla with registration number CRM 847 L.
“He is an employee at Mototolo Mine and he didn’t report for work as scheduled and his cellphone is off,” explained Ngoepe.
Ngoepe said the man was reportedly seen wearing a black jacket and grey trousers at the time of his disappearance.
