Badly burnt body of man found in pit toilet

DENNILTON – Police in Dennilton outside Groblersdal are on a massive manhunt for unknown suspects following the chilling discovery of a burnt body at Matlala “A” Lehwelere village.

According to police, this after a tip-off from relatives of the deceased on Tuesday 19 June 2018 that they have discovered a burnt body dumped inside a pit toilet.

Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, Limpopo Provincial Police Spokesperson, said when police arrived at the scene, they found a badly burnt body burnt in an old pit toilet stashed in a wheelbarrow.

Ngoepe said preliminary police investigations recovered pieces of vehicle tyres which were believed to be some of the objects used to burn the deceased.

“The deceased was positively identified by his family as Kaizer Makola aged 42 years from the village. The motive behind the cold blood murder is still unknown at this stage. Police are therefore calling upon Thabiso Matlala aged 29 years-old who is nephew of the deceased to come to Dennilton police station to assist police with investigations in this matter,” said Ngeope.
