Radio station organises soccer tournament for the youth



Best teams in the Moutse area are participating in a top 16 soccer tourney which involves local teams.

Speaking to the Sekhukhune Times, station manager for the local radio Moutse FM Martin Lebotse said they host the tournament every year during the month of June.

“We host this tournament to bring our youth together and to encourage them to participate in sporting activities. We know that sport brings people together. The tournament is unearthing hidden soccer talents in our area and also taking the youth away from the streets.”

One of the supporters Lesiba Kekana told Sekhukhune Times that they thank the station for organising the soccer tournament.

“This is an opportunity to watch some of our best players from Moutse and surrounding areas. We are proud with the talent displayed during this tournament and may the best team clinch the trophy.”

Moutse FM are the proud sponsors of this tournament. The finals are playing this weekend.
