MOGANYAKA – A 35 year-old man who was arrested for the murder of a 35 year-old woman in Moganyaka village outside Marble Hall was granted bail when he appeared before Motetema Magistrates Court last Friday 04 May 2018.
The 35 year-old woman, identified as Bridgette Ngwanamoswana Maleswena from Ditshweneng section was stabbed to death at her homestead.
Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, Limpopo Provincial Police Spokesperson, said it was alleged that on the 28 April 2018 at about 16:30 a woman was found lying in a pool of blood by her cousin.
“Police and emergency workers were summoned to the scene. The paramedics certified the victim dead on the scene,” said Mojapelo.
Mojapelo said preliminary investigations by police led to the arrest of a 35 year-old man. The suspect is the father to the deceased twin children and her ex-boyfriend, according to police.
The suspect, Wilfred Makolane appeared before Motetema Magistrate Court last Friday and was granted a R1000 bail.
His case was postponed to 28 June 2018 for further police investigations.
